I just bought this car from a friend of mine that made a tuner car from a v8 thunderbird. I can't imagine finding another 1997 ford thunderbird as kool as this one! This is one of the coolest car we have ever had. I was very impressed how this car handles and how smooth the ride was with the all new sport suspension with heavy duty front and rear sway bars and all the other features give this car the legendary super coupe handling and v8 power! This car is still touted as the one of the best handling cars ford ever made, the only other american rear wheel drive car to have 4-wheel independent suspension was the corvette. Wow, it handles like it is on rails. The sound of that 4. 6 liter v8 motor through the dual exhaust system with borla tips, wow is it awesome. What a pleasure to drive. This car has its original fuel-injected 4. 6 liter v8 motor in it and it is very responsive and powerful with the 5-speed automatic transmission functions like new. This motor makes 285 lbs of torque at only 2900 rpm. I don't think there were very any options that this car does not have! It even has the original owner's manual. The overall cosmetic impression of this car is in near new condition! This is a custom tuner thunderbird. The original gray leather upholstery and interior is very nice. The performance radial tires and the matching sport wheels look great. The stereo gear in the trunk looks and sounds awesome! I don't think the pictures show the kind of wonderful condition this car is in. I looked underneath and all the floor pans are in great shape, i also included photo's below. This is a dry western car that was cared for all its life. As always i tried to get as thorough and in-depth with the photographs as possible. This vehicle can be had for quite a bit less than what it is worth all for the need of a quick sale. Features & options8 way power leather.

Careful to not let this 1965 classic get away! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! This t-bird has over $20,000 into it. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking custom thunderbird. This beauty is one nice driving rig and is in great shape. This 1965 ford thunderbird has the original, code “z” 390 cid v8 in it and it has been completely rebuilt including hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel and is running very well. The original exhaust manifolds with new dual exhaust system sounds awesome. The engine is backed by a three speed automatic transmission and a 9 inch rear-end both of which function very well. This thunderbird is nicely equipped including, factory heavy duty power disc brakes, factory gauge package (all working), custom dual color-matched sport exterior mirrors with driver’s remote, good heater and defroster, working sequential rear blinkers, fender mounted front turn indicators, led interior lights (not working) haven’t had a chance to look at it but will fix before shipment. This thunderbird is a great running and wonderful looking car. This 1965 ford thunderbird has good looks and great power as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line are in good working order as is the electrical system. I thought i would include the following text from the owner; “i purchased this thunderbird after my wife had passed away; it was my dream car ever since i was a child. The car needed a lot of work and i am no mechanic, so i had to rely on a lot of help. I made the decision to not bring the car back to original since there at the time were so many of this style in the local thunderbird club. As i said i was not a mechanic and so once i had people started working on the car it was going to need a lot of work i had not planned on. It took five years to bring it to where it is now. I have had a lot of people work on this car. There was xx the owner of xx automotive shop who did mechanical work, he also rebuilt the engine which has less than two thousand miles on it. I had xxx auto body finish the body work and paint. Plus other shops like the interior for example. This car gets a lot of looks, especially on a good sunny day. It really pains me to sell this car for which is a symbol of my loving wife xx, i still wanted to complete the restoration of it. Due do any injury to my back about three years ago, i do not get the enjoyment of driving my thunderbird any more. I really wish the person who buys the car will start a new tradition and make it part of their lives, add and continue to make improvements on it and have it last for years to come. “this t-bird is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right!
